MAKE A POPSICLE STICK MONSTER FOR HALLOWEEN!

Sharing this fun, halloween craft, easy for all but definitely adult led for toddlers! We made three little “monsters” and now she loves using them for little characters to play with!

I found these fun little monster popsicle figures on Pinterest and knew Londyn would LOVE these as she just loves all things spooky season!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  1. Construction Paper
  2. Popsicle sticks
  3. washable markers
  4. googely eyes
  5. any type of glue, we alternated between a glue stick and a hot glue gun (I used)

You’ll create the figures with six popsicle sticks, I found it was easiest to glue them by cutting the same size construction paper for them as a backing to them, and glued the popsicle sticks down to that after coloring them with the markers.

I colored all of the popsicle sticks first according to each “Monster” and then cut the cardboard paper to glue them down.

I just cut out little shapes in construction paper to form eyebrows, smiles, teeth, ect! There’s no specific way to create these, I did two faces with marker, and this one with construction paper!

So with the above and the marker eyes, originally I tried to use a glue stick to let her have help in adding the googly eyes but they didn’t stick. I drew them on and let her draw one, (which turned into a huge smiley face) lol, and then later went back over them with the hot glue gun and googly eyes which worked way better!

We made three different monsters, but there’s so many different ideas you could do! If you don’t want to use googly eyes you could also just use the marker and do a Frankenstein face, a Jack O’ Lantern face, and many more!

I will say, she LOVES these now and uses them as little figures to play pretend with!

Below is the end result of our little monsters we created!

Happy Spooky Season! Tag me on instagram, or fb if you make these with your kiddo!
