This is our review on a hosted family stay we had recently!

Looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and family fun? Our weekend getaway to Caribe Royale in Orlando delivered just that—and more! From poolside adventures and spacious suites to delicious dining and easy access to local attractions, this resort quickly became a favorite. Here’s a look at how we made the most of our sunny stay at Caribe Royale.

Located just a hop, skip or drive away from Walt Disney World Resort, the Caribe Royale is an official Walt Disney World good neighbor hotel and it really is the perfect place to escape to wether you’re at the parks, here on business, seeing family or you live in Orlando and need a staycation, we had a great experience!

We checked in on a Friday and left on Sunday and we were able to get so much done on the property! We stayed in a one bedroom queen suite with a view of the beautiful pool and it was a perfect sized room with all the essentials for our family!

The room came equipped with a separate living room area with a couch, desk, coffee maker, fridge, and a tv, the bathroom had a stand in shower that comes with a supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, not to mention the waterfall shower was an AMAZING touch! The room was extremely clean and well kept! We had robes in the closet, as well as slippers and toiletries on the counter as well.

We really loved that parking for the towers was located right outside of them! It was easy to access our car which was awesome! Each tower gives pool access in the lobby, and has tables outside to eat at, and seating down in the main lobby of the tower as well! We were in tower two which was located in between the fitness center, near the pickleball courts as well!

Let’s chat food! A huge must for our family is stay in a place that has on site dining options! Caribe Royale had quite a few which we absolutely loved!!! We had a chance to experience the Stadium Club, a MUST DO when visiting the property!!

Stadium Club is the resort’s high-energy sports bar and interactive restaurant. With massive LED screens that are playing your favorite sports teams, tons of seating, an DJ, AND SPORTS SIMULATORS, plus a lively atmosphere, it is the perfect spot for the entire family and truly sets dining options at the Caribe Royale apart from other properties! The kids loved the interactive games and sports simulators! These have to be reserved but they are so cool!! They offer simulated games like golf, baseball, basketball and my favorite were the carnival games! They also have a super fun photo op right when you walk in! The Stadium Club is located right inside the Main lobby, downstairs level!

You pay for the suite per hour, and pricing may vary per the day! You can find more pricing details here and ways to reserve a lane as well!

We loved that you can order food & drinks directly to the sports simulator suite you are in! The menu is HUGE, the appetizers are massive and can easily make you full just off of those! I mean, the giant pretzel is quite literally, GIANT. The kids loved their entrees and of course the dessert! There is also a full service bar that offers specialty cocktails, drafts, bottled beers and so much more!! Lenny enjoyed is Philly cheesesteak and my birria tacos were delicious! The desserts were a hit for the fam too! The key lime pie and the brookie were SO good, I’d highly recommend those!

Caribe Royale also offers restaurants like the Tropicale which is a great breakfast restaurant open daily from 7 AM to around 11 AM!

You can enjoy breakfast plates or the breakfast buffet which offers options like fruit, eggs, made to go omelets, pancakes, waffles, scalloped potatos, bacon, sausage and so much more!! You can also offer fresh coffee, mimosas, and juices as well!

Tropicale is in the main tower, right next to Stadium Club

Not feeling breakfast in a sit down restaurant? No worries! In room dining is also an option!! We ordered room service for breakfast and enjoyed snuggled in bed, in their favorite character pajamas while having a delicious meal! It was quick and delivered hot and fresh! There was a great breakfast menu to choose from for all of us as well!

There is also a full market located downstairs in the main tower that carries things like snacks, grab n go sandwiches, drinks, sweets and even Kelly’s Ice cream!!

The Starbucks is located directly in the main lobby across from check in! They also carry baked goods and sandwich items as well!

Or maybe you’re ready to end the day with a cocktail and some adult time! There is a bar in the lobby called the Rum Bar, we didn’t get to stop by on this visit but it looks like a great place to go for a nightcap and some good adult conversation!

I won’t leave you hanging on the pool details!! If you’re anything like us, give us a great pool set up, maybe a cabana or a waterslide and we could literally spend the entire day poolside! Luckily for us, Caribe Royale has it all!!

The pool is nestled right into the middle of the property, you can access it from all of the towers and it’s a beautiful walk to the restaurants as you get to walk right next to it! It features a 75’ waterslide, a huge waterfall, cabanas, whirlpools and a separate splash pad as well! We truly never felt crowded in the pool area which we loved as well, hello, it’s a Florida summer! We had the opportunity to experience a cabana but there were a lot of open seats all around the pool edge!

Cabanas are available all around the pool, you can reserve one by calling the property or visiting inside the fitness center! Cabanas include four dedicated lounge chairs, flat screen TV (ROYALE CABANAS), complimentary WiFi, fruit platter, assorted complimentary canned and bottled non alcoholic beverages, as well as food and beverage service! We loved the space of our cabana for our family of four but you can easily have a bigger family in there!

As you can tell, the pool of course was a favorite!!

There is also a dining option near the pool!! You can eat right at Calypso’s!

There is a full menu for cocktails, mocktails and cold drinks as well! I tried the passion Rita and it was the perfect frozen drink! Once again all of the food we tried was delicious and the portions were huge! We truly were not let down the entire weekend when it came to food options, every single place we tried was fresh, delicious and had so many options!!!

There are so many more amenities that are a part of Caribe Royale! There is a fitness center, there are bikes you can rent to ride around the property, there is fishing, pickleball courts, a game room located right by the pool a playground as well!!

We even saw a movie night happening for families out by the pool!

The fitness center is amazing! It’s two floors, where you can find a lot of weight machines on the bottom floor and free weights, and upstairs there are treadmills, bikes, and more!! The view is of the pool while working out, I mean what a perfect way to burn off vacation food!

The fitness center hours are 6 AM-9 PM daily! There are also beverages ect for purchase from the fitness center attendants. The entire fitness center was very clean and well kept!!

While you check out, don’t forget to stop by the gift shop in the lobby where they have souvenirs, Disney character gifts, and more essentials that you may need for the day! I don’t know about you, but our children don’t let us get out of stopping by a gift shop wherever we are, so of course we had to go inside Caribe Royale’s!

We had the most amazing time at the Caribe Royale Orlando. Like I said above it’s in such close proximity to Disney World and so many great places in the heart of Orlando, but really, the resort has everything you could need so if you didn’t want to venture out, you won’t have to!
