Bringing you all along on our family two-night staycation at the Max Beach Resort in Daytona Beach, Florida!

We were hosted by the Max Beach Resort for a two-night stay, and WOW. This resort is exactly what Daytona Beach has been missing! As frequent visitors to the area, we are familiar with a lot that Daytona Beach has to offer. We felt like we were on an island resort! With 72 luxury & spacious hotel rooms, that are more like condos and apartments, you are sure to feel home away from home!!

We stayed in a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom room that can sleep 8 people. With two masters, one room with two XL twin beds, three and a half baths including tubs, stand-alone showers, and one tub/shower, the room was PERFECT for a family, or a friend vacation!

The room also has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. The kitchen has appliances including a coffee maker, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and a full refrigerator! It was great having that in the room to have options of keeping groceries and not having to eat out for every meal! The Laundry room is stocked with a washer and dryer, ironing board, and steamer. There are also travel-sized toiletries like dish/dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent!

The hotel does not do housekeeping until you are checked out but you can call down if you need certain items!

Let’s take a moment for the oceanfront residence’s views! Every single room AND bathroom had an ocean view, and they were breathtaking!! I don’t know about anyone else, but seeing the ocean brings me a sense of relaxation and peace! There are also city-view rooms and city/ocean views as well! The Balcony speaks for itself and came with a coffee table and chairs set up, as well as a dining table that seats six!

I’m sure everyone is wondering what kind of amenities this resort has, as that’s always a key factor for me when choosing where to stay! From a restaurant and bar, a huge pool & hot tub, a game lounge, the sunset/sunrise decks, and more, there is so much to do for the entire family! Not to mention, the beach is just steps away!!

We were able to enjoy the saltwater pool, and loved that it had a huge sunbathing shelf that was perfect for Rome’s age to splash around in! The depth is 3-5 feet and there were a ton of seating options including layout chairs and tables to eat on!

One of my favorite things to do poolside is order a good drink and snacks! The food at the Max Beach resort was so good!!! They had GREAT breakfast items, the blueberry pancakes and breakfast bowl with eggs and potatoes were our favorite! The appetizers we had poolside were the pretzel sticks, the cheeseburger sliders, the sweet tots, and the oceanfront fries and they were all delicious!! So good in fact, my husband and I ordered more pretzel sticks and sliders for dinner last night!

A couple of my favorite cocktails there was the strawberry margarita with the tajin rim and the beachside froze!

A few of our other favorite things about the resort were the Beacon Lounge with games and seating that are great for hanging out, the sunrise and sunset decks, and the grassy area on the patio right by the Venn Bar, where you can rent cornhole pieces from the front desk! The kids also loved lounging on the oversized bean bag cushions!

The Beacon Lounge had a pool table, foosball table, checkers set-ups on the high-top tables, and a table shuffleboard! There were quite a few places to sit as well with a couch and multiple chairs and tables!

There is also a full-size gym! With multiple workout machines, weight balls, and more, you’ll be able to get a full workout in while on-site! PS. The views over the treadmill are incredible!

You also have the option to rent a cabana that overlooks the beach! There are so many amenities and extras to add to your stay.

We had the best time during our stay, if you are planning a trip to Daytona Beach or a staycation, make sure to bookmark this post, and keep the Max Beach Resort in mind! With only 72 rooms, its intimate and feels like you’re right at home!

COME STAYCATION WITH US AT THE GROVE RESORT AND WATERPARK

You guys there is SO much to do at The Grove Resort and Waterpark! We didn’t even cover half of our bases that we wanted to get done within the pool/waterpark area!!! I loved though that there is a whole other pool section called The Springs with a zero entry style pool, little fountains and the perfect mini splash area for littles, if the Waterpark is not your vibe for that day! We of course did both and had so much fun! Londyn loved the slides there, and could have played in that area all day long!
