This was our first time visiting the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa property, and visiting during the month of December was true magic for the holiday season! The luxury waterfront resort and spa is nestled right on the shores of Clearwater Beach and the area it’s located is so peaceful, yet still close to all of the liveliness of the Main beach in Clearwater, the marina and coastal attractions!
The JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa offers a variety of spacious guest rooms and suites to fit every type of traveler. During our stay, we had the opportunity to experience the Two-Bedroom Residence, an ideal option for families or groups. This residence features two separate bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds—each with its own private bathroom. The king suite includes a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower, while the second bathroom offers a modern walk-in shower. The residence also offers a full living room, a kitchenette, a table with great seating and a washer/dryer in the unit!
And the most amazing balcony views! The entire balcony connects but there is a door leading out in each room including the living room!
During the holiday season, families can enjoy festive Christmas décor right inside their residence at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach. With a fully decorated Christmas tree, coastal holiday touches, and special treats like Christmas cookies, and even limited time seasonal cocktails for the parents, the space feels cozy, magical, and perfect for making holiday memories together—just like home, but by the beach.

The holiday festivities don’t stop in the room! The entire property is decorated and ready to go for the holidays! With special events happening left and right! I highly recommend grabbing the calender available at the front desk as it lists out all the great events, pop ups, happy hours and more for the guests day by day!
Oh and PS.. be on the lookout for the hotel’s own elf named Jelly!
There are so many festive photo ops for the entire fam, and the most amazing gingerbread display!
The gingerbread display is a must see every year in the lobby of the JW Marriott Clearwater, we loved seeing all the intricate work and details of the gingerbread displays, there are many Christmas characters included that the kid’s loved looking for, not to mention it SMELLS AMAZING!!!! The display runs until January 2nd, 2026!
It’s located right next to the holiday pop up bar which is one of my favorites that I’ve been to this season! Again, it’s decked out in festive decor, even the seats are disguised as Santa caps! With holiday movies playing, and a seasonal 12 days of cocktail menu, this is a must do while visiting!!
I loved trying the different drinks from the 12 days of Holiday cocktails! My favorites are the gingerbread espresso martini, the ho-ho-ho margarita and the cotton candy martini! There is something for every taste though! My husband enjoyed the Just a good old fashioned!
Looking for more of a dining option? The Jw Marriott Clearwater Beach offers many options for dining! From beach and poolside service to fine dining right in the lobby of the hotel, everything we tried, we enjoyed!
There is also a JW market in the lobby as well that offers coffee, sandwiches, pastries and market style grab to go options as well!
We had great appetizers and drinks at The Deep end located on the roof right next to the pool, it has beautiful views of the coastal line and the menu offers a range of appetizers, entrees and light bites!
Our favorite meal on property was definitely at Latitude 28!
Latitude 28 is an onsite restaurant offering fresh seafood inspired dishes and flavors inspired by the Florida Gulf Coast. The atmosphere and ambience is beautiful adding to the elevated menu!
The restaurant offers options for both breakfast and dinner, we had the opportunity to try the dinner menu and everything we ordered was delicious!

For starters we absolutely loved the Whipped Feta & Heirloom beets, and the Crispy Calamari, Londyn barely shared that one with us!
For entrees, we ordered the Angus Filet Mignon & the 30 Days dry age NY strip which is finished table side, and both were amazing! Cooked to perfection and full of flavor! Don’t leave without trying the truffle lobster Mac and cheese as well!
There are quite a few seafood options as well, I was eyeing the salmon but their fish of the day that day sounded amazing as well! I can’t wait to try the breakfast menu next time!
And it wouldn’t be a beachside property without the amenities of course!
The JW Marriott Clearwater Beach offers things like private beach access with the perfect swimming coves for families, beach toys, beach games, paddle boards and kayaks! Plus hammocks, and quite a few options for seating! There is also a towel hut with sunscreen needs, towels, ect!
You also have the option on the website to reserve the queen day bed! Located right on the shore of the beach!
And of course we cannot miss talking about the rooftop pool deck!

The pool deck offers great seating options, with cabana rentals, pool view pod rentals, a great sized pool complete with a hot tub, poolside service from The Deep End and BEAUTIFUL views of the coast!
We unfortunately didn’t have swimming weather, but we cannot wait to visit again and spend some time soaking in the sun next to this pool!!
I also included a snapshot of the bikes you can rent to cruise along Clearwater! They are located in the front of the property, AS WELL AS a beach buggy! It was gone while we were there, but think of cruising for a ride in a teal, beach themed buggy!
We had the most incredible time visiting the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, this is truly a perfect place for families to get away for any holiday season, or vacation! We cannot wait to visit again during the spring or summer!
