Londyn and I love making crafts together, and sensory bins are one of her favorites. Everything I grabbed for this was priced between $1.25 & $10! All together it was under $25 for the entire thing! It keeps her busy for awhile, while using her creative side and imagination through hands on play which is our favorite style of learning and playing!
First off, I grabbed $9 snow off of amazon. You just add a cup or two of water to it and it expands into the snow.
Everything else is from the dollar tree! PS. did you know they changed everything from $1 to mostly $1.25! I did not, lol. But overall I spent total under $25!
LIST OF ITEMS I USED:
- Let It Snow fake snow, you can buy it here ($10)
- red and green pom pom balls (including a pack of sparkly ones)
- little people figures and a rv/car figure
- faux pine tree sticks
- measuring cups for scooping
- cupcake wrappers for scooping or holding snow/items
- cut up faux flowers
Sensory buckets can be filled with anything you think your child will like!
I like to put in different colors, and objects to help her learn her colors, number of items, and really just to play freely and rearrange the bin however she wants!
If you have a toddler, I highly recommend trying to make one! You can buy them as well, but you save so much doing your own, and Londyn loves making them along side with me!
Tag me if you make one with your kiddos!
