Happy Friday! How is everyone feeling? I wanted to get up some at home date night ideas for this weekend, I know everyone’s usual routines are flipped upside down and even though now you’re definitely by your spouse or significant other (if you live with one) NONSTOP, you may have to put in extra time to get ready, and dedicate time to one another, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A PARENT!
HERE’S SOME FUN AT HOME DATE NIGHT IDEAS!
- Ladies & Gents, first off, get ready for date night. Dress up, do makeup, hair Ect and put time into yourself just like you would if you were going out!
2. Grab a deck of cards. Play a card game, or if you have amazon, grab a deck of phase 10. It’s a fun pass the time game!
3. Pour your favorite beverage and go sit outside together, after a long day that is mine and my husband’s favorite thing to do. I prefer wine and he will have a beer or baileys, and we just sit and talk about our day! (Definitely doing this tonight to recap our week)
4. Ask each other these questions, or pick 20 from the list and play the game 20 questions! Wether it’s been 6 months together or 20 years, it’s fun to quiz each other and learn new or more things about one another! LINK BELOW. http://date night questions at home
5. Cook dinner together, plan out what you want for dinner, maybe feed the kiddo something else and easy, put them down and cook a meal for you guys together! It’s like your out at a restaurant! 😉
6. Come up with a bucket list together, make it focused on what you guys want to do AFTER the coronavirus mess. What will be your top 10 things to go see or do? Revisit it after a year and see where you’re at with it
7. Take personality tests and compare results, this could be a fun way to learn about each other’s love languages, Ect! Here’s a link for a test! https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
8. Have a movie night!! If you can’t agree on movies, (like me and Lenny) put options into a hat, and pull one! Grab your favorite snacks, your cozy blankets and put the movie on!
9. Create a phonebook together, I personally LOVE this idea and we will be implementing this one! Pick out your favorite photos throughout your relationship, and find a photo site, Shutterfly is a great one for these, and create a book together of your relationship!!
10. Plan a travel list! Almost like the bucket list, but come up with your top 10 spots to visit, and then compare lists! Lenny and I love thinking about future travel destinations, and we look up pics and spots a lot! Especially during this time, it’s nice to have something to look forward to!
Let me know which of these you and yours implement or try! Leave a comment with your fav date night idea!!!! Stay healthy, and safe!
XOXO
