Island H20 Waterpark is officially open for the season in Orlando, and it is a blast for the entire family! Located right next to Margaritville Resort this interactive waterpark features around 20 rides and attractions that are great for all ages!
If you are a guest of the Margaritaville Resort the waterpark is within walking distance, if you are driving and parking, the rates are very reasonable for a Central Florida attraction park.
$10 for all day parking & $20 for preferred parking!
Park hours are: 10:30 AM- 5 PM EVERYDAY MON-FRI
This waterpark is a hotspot on the weekends especially, I recommend arriving around opening time to get in line for your tickets and to find a good spot to claim as yours for the day!
Admission Prices vary, if you are local there are also season passes you can get as well! Here is the info for admission pricing!
You’ll walk in through a bag check and right away start seeing signs to download the app and get your selfie faces ready! This interactive and immersive waterpark is all about sharing your fun through social media and pictures! There are even GO LIVE! shacks to go LIVE at the waterpark! Your wristband is your ticket to take pictures at the selfie stations, earn points at food and beverage stops well as the souvenir shop on the way in and out!
Let’s chat more about the interactive wristbands!
These wristbands are interactive throughout the entire park! You can use them to earn points with rides you go on, purchases you make and pictures you take! When entering a queue for a ride, tap your wristband and your points will be uploaded into your app to use later on! You can also customize your rides on certain attractions by changing lights and music! SO COOL!
These are also used to tap into the family and friends (or solo) selfie stations!!! These were so fun to locate around the park and all have fun difference backgrounds and props! The photos upload straight to your app where you can then download right onto your phone! Make sure to share it to your socials to share your LIVE fun!
Wondering what kind of options you have for seating and lounging? Island H20 Waterpark has a ton of seating and lounging options around each dining area, pool and the kids areas!
We had a standard cabana for the day and it was so nice to have a spot for lounging with small kids! The cabana came with a table and four chairs to eat at, two lounging chairs and a small table for drinks as well! The fridge comes stocked with free waters, as well as a server and a cabana menu for drinks and food!
Cabana Prices vary throughout the week and weekend! There are also different styles of cabanas you can rent for the day! Here is the link to check them all out!
STANDARD CABANA PRICES:
WEEKDAYS: $199.99
WEEKENDS: $249.99
After playing for a couple of hours, we headed back to the cabana for lunch! The food was great and our server was so attentive and friendly! We ordered the chicken fingers and fries for Londyn and Rome, while I had the vegan hummus wrap (was delicious) and Lenny the Island Pulled Pork sandwich.
There wasn’t specific kids’ meals but the portions of the meals would be big enough for littles to share! Our food total was around $140 for all!
If you are not ordering off the cabana menu, there are two food stops in the waterpark. Megabytes & Apps & Eats! With options for everyone including Vegan options, kids favorites, pizza, nachos and more, everyone will be satisfied!
There is also a bar and adult pool for 21 & Up over by the Reply Racers slides!
Ready to see some of the rides and thrills at ISLAND H20?
There are so many fun attractions and pools for everyone. From Follow me Falls a water coaster type of ride, the Downloader slide with a customized experience for your audio and visual, to the slides in the Candy Stripe Cove (Londyn’s favorite), all the way to the Live! Lagoon wave pool and Chat Creek lazy river, there is something for everyone and their level of thrill seeking!
Most of the bigger water slides are 42-48″ and children under 16 will be required to ride with an adult!
We played for hours in the Candy Stripe Cove, I can’t even tell you how many times Londyn slid down the slides with even mama and dada joining in! Rome loved the swings that went back and forth in the water, and we loved sitting under the waterfall right in the middle of the shallow pool!
If you have littles that aren’t up to thrill seeking on the bigger waterslides, bring them on over to Pelican Beach and the Candy Stripe Cove! We spent almost all day in those areas, and the kiddos LOVED every single second!
Make sure to head over to the LIVE! Lagoon wave pool or chat creek lazy river before the day is up as well! The Live! Lagoon wave pool has a huge LED screen that shows guests going live, and displays messages you can have put up, we saw a few Happy birthday messages while there! The pool is very family friendly and has a huge zero entry space that littles can play and wade in, if they aren’t big enough or comfortable enough to go play in the deeper parts!
When walking around the park you’ll notice selfie stations popped up around as well as these GO LIVE! shacks! You can go inside and go live on your social media to share your experience at Island H20 with your family, friends and followers of course!
At the end of our day we stopped by the Dippin’ Dots and grabbed some of Londyn’s favorite flavors and then headed through the souvenir store. They have a ton of cute merchandise, make sure to check out your points on your app that you earned throughout the day before you leave as they are non transferrable!
We had the best day splashing and playing around Island H20! Make sure to check out my instagram for another look at our day!
