When most people are traveling to Orlando or wanting to experience MAGIC in Orlando, they may think of the theme parks, but did you know there is REAL MAGIC located near the parks inside of the Grande lakes Orlando? Drew Thomas Magic is a magic show for all, and it is one of our most favorite family friendly events!!

Drew Thomas is not only a celebrated finalist from the show America’s Got Talent, but a master of modern magic, an acclaimed entertainer and illusionist, when I tell you our entire family is in shock each show, and we’ve been to quite a few, I am not lying! The illusions and magic are like no other!
The show run times are about an hour, and are filled with so many surprises, just when you think you “know” the magic, you quickly realize you have no clue! Even if you’re a skeptic, your mind will be questioning it all!
The ticket prices start at $49.99 and go up to $89.99 depending on where you select your seats, we’ve sat in both the front row, and the back row and had an amazing time and view from each seat and that’s including my little ones! There are screens also projecting the tricks and illusions as they happen so that helps a ton!
While the show is located inside of either The Ritz-Carlton Orlando or The Jw Marriott Orlando, you will find out exactly where you’ll be watching about an hour before the show! I highly recommend making a reservation for dinner or apps somewhere before or after your magic show time to make a full night of it! My top recommendations would be Highball & Harvest, and The Kitchen, those are some of our favorites! The property is extremely family friendly and welcoming for all ages!!
The Drew Thomas Magic show is a family affair! His entire family is involved which to me is the coolest thing EVER! My kids love watching not only Drew Thomas, but Rebecca his wife AND assistant to the magic, and his three kids, all joining in on the magic, the piano, live vocals and the guitar!
If you think you’ll be watching the show just from your seat, well think again!! The show involves A LOT of audience participation and from all ages!! We’ve all had a part of helping with Drew Thomas’s magic tricks and illusions and my kids still talk about it to this day! It also helps create a TON of laughs! Whether it’s you, your spouse, or your little one, you never know which trick or illusion you will be called up for!
Last year we had the opportunity to attend each show, including seasonal shows!! From Halloween to Christmas, they were themed to the seasons, with new magic tricks and new illusions, new jokes, yes Drew Thomas does include some humor and more entertainment to keep the fun going, new storylines and story telling, plus more! The Christmas show even involved Santa making an appearance which the kids absolutely loved!!!
I also love how intimate the shows are, there are limited seats for each show time, and it truly makes you feel like Drew Thomas gets to know his audience which makes it even more special and fun! The show times are on Friday’s and Saturday’s with tickets for a 7 pm show!
