Our Stay at Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate!

If you’ve been here awhile you know we are all about weekends away and a good staycation spot for the family! The Omni was definitely added to the top of our list for places a family should stay in Orlando!

The Omni at Championsgate is a sprawling beautiful resort over 800 acres. The property is beautiful and has so many amenities that are great for all. From four sparkling pools that feature a wave pool, lazy river style pool, and a GREAT kids pool, plus mini golf, as well as 36 holes of championship golf, there really is SO much to do during your stay!

One of the best features of the Hotel is Eagle’s Edge! The resorts very own driving range with a full restaurant and bar!

I have previously shared a post on Eagle’s Edge which you can read below!!

I will share more on a new menu for brunch below as well!

We checked in on a Friday, there are options for valet or self-parking, and the check-in and valet process was super easy and quick. The lobby is beautiful so while you’re waiting to check in the views are stunning or you can grab a cocktail at the bar right near where you walk in!

We stayed in a 2 queen room with a view over the pools and golf course and it was stunning! the balcony comes with a patio set that makes breakfast, coffee and conversations even better while in your room!

Our room came stocked with essentials like toiletries, a keurig coffee maker with stance coffee, a mini fridge, robes, and more!

oh ps..House keeping will come and do a turn down service and leave a sweet treat for the family too 🙂

There are great dining options at the Omni Resort and a variety of places! If you’re looking for quick service, the Brooklyn Deli is a great stop for grab-and-go options, breakfast options, and even gelato or a drink for the adults, which is located down in the lower lobby on the way out to the pool! If you love a good slice of pizza, there is a pizza parlor serving up 16′ pizzas that you can eat at a table in the lobby, find a spot outside or bring it back up to your room! The pizzas were delicious and super fresh and hot!

We had dinner Friday night at Trevi’s Italian restaurant and it was delicious! We had the bruschetta, the Pollo Con Panna, and the Pollo Con Parmigiano and it was all wonderful! The kids also had great portions for their meals and a delicious ice cream treat to end their dinner! The service was top-notch, Our server Ivan, the General Manager Rueban, and Chef Michael, were attentive, helpful, and very welcoming.

Chef Michael prepared a beautiful dessert spread for us that was the perfect finish to our dinner especially paired with a glass of prosecco!

the menu items we chose at trevi Italian restaurant, everything was delicious as was the service.

Let’s talk about what is new at Eagle’s Edge!! If you haven’t already, make sure to read my full blog post on my experience at Eagle’s Edge from a couple of months ago! To give you a snippet though on what Eagle’s Edge is:

“This is a brand new addition to Eagles Edge, featuring 30 bays with TopRacer Technology, the bays come with golf clubs for both men and women. You can play virtual courses, compete against your friends, and see your shot trace all while receiving instant stats!!”

You can read more about Eagle’s Edge here from my last visit!

GOLF AT EAGLES EDGE OMNI RESORT

Eagle’s Edge just launched their brand new brunch and it is so good!! They also have the option for bottomless mimosas or bloody mary’s which are available with the purchase of an entree and are good for two hours. I highly recommend the stuffed French toast with the strawberry and jalapeno cream cheese, take my word for it, it is DELICIOUS.

Brunch is served from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s!

There is also another full menu and whole cocktail/beer and wine menu that can be found in my other blog post about Eagle’s Edge!

Let’s chat about one of everyone’s favorite part about resorts and hotels, the pools!! Yes, pools are plural at The Omni Resort at Championsgate! There are FOUR pools, including a kids pool with three slides, a wave pool and even a lazy river!

There is Croc’s restaurant around the big main pool, and when we were there, they had grilled items available for purchase right by the pool as well! There is also a bar in the walkway between pools!

And that’s not all for things to do at the Omni!!! There is also a full basketball court, a playground, camp omni for the kids, an arcade AND a full golf course, par three course and mini golf!!!

I would highly recommend adding the Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate to your list of places to stay!!

COME STAYCATION WITH US AT THE GROVE RESORT AND WATERPARK

You guys there is SO much to do at The Grove Resort and Waterpark! We didn’t even cover half of our bases that we wanted to get done within the pool/waterpark area!!! I loved though that there is a whole other pool section called The Springs with a zero entry style pool, little fountains and the perfect mini splash area for littles, if the Waterpark is not your vibe for that day! We of course did both and had so much fun! Londyn loved the slides there, and could have played in that area all day long!
